Sleat and Strath stumble without managers presence

Manager DL MacKinnon missed a good part of the Ross Cup Semi Final game against Kyleakin due to being held up at work. After leaving one bad day at one office he walked into another as Sleat and Strath were dumped out of the Ross Cup by Kyleakin who picked up a 3-2 win in Kinloch.

"From what I saw, the hungrier team won on the day," was what the manager had to say after the match.

Goalkeeper John Davie was back in net for the first time since the Highland Amateur cup exit, and again questions will be asked of the defensive unit as a whole for letting Kyleakin score 3 goals on home ground, after going in 0-0 at the break.
