Sleat and Strath resume normal buisness

Sleat and Strath shook off the sore heads of the Highland Amateur exit at the weekend by beating Staffin 9-0 on Tuesday night. Goalkeeper John Davie was dropped from the starting line up after his shakey performance on Saturday, with Craig Wilson taking his place. It was only Wilsons 3 game in goals this season, and he will have been happy to pick up his first clean sheet. It was a game of firsts, as Fraser Graham got his first goal of the season. Gordy picked up yet another hat trick, James Robertson scored 2, with Ben Yoxon, James Graham and Iain MacPherson also getting on the score sheet.

The result keeps Sleat and Strath 3 points ahead of Kyleakin in the league with a game in hand.

Assistant Manager Bryan Mattinson was in charge for the match and unfortunately would not provide a full match report or team sheet for this site. He is in charge again for the upcoming game in Glenelg next Tuesday (28th) but we will try to provide what information we can from the game.
