A close game was predicted last night with Sleat and Strath travelling to Kyleakin with both teams unbeaten. And a close game was exactly what followed. S&S were without Jamie Hamilton who is influential for them, whereas Kyleakin were at full strength.

The game started slow. James Robertson was able to give Sleat and Strath the lead, but Kyleakin pulled level soon after. Another goal from James Robertson and one from Ben Yoxon made it 3-1 but again Kyleakin answered and brought the score to 3-2. Then a dramatic period of play as a minute after scoring, Kyleakin gave away a penalty that Gordy scored, but again Kyleakin pulled one back, before shooting themselves in the foot once more with an own goal to make it 5-3. With 7 minutes to play Kyleakin scored again to make it 5-4, but Sleat and Strath just managed to hold on to the end to take the 3 points and the lead in the league.
