Sleat and Strath dominate, but questions asked of the defence.

Sleat and Strath played their 2nd match under Assistant Manager Bryan Mattinson in Glenelg on Tuesday. Sleat were dominant, winning the match 9-2, but the same problems are creeping in for Sleat again.

Sleat and Strath were blazing in the first half, mostly down to Gordy being as lethal as always. With 4 goals to his name in the first half, added to by one each from Callum Mattinson and James Robertson, Sleat and Strath lead 6-0 at half time. Earlier in the season the manager had complained about a lack of a killer edge to the team, and this was seen again in the second half in Glenelg.

Gordy picked up his 5th, but soon after Glenelg got one back. James then picked up his second before Glenelg were allowed to score again. Fraser Graham finished off the days scoring to give a final result of 9-2.

Now we may be coming down slightly hard on the team, but to give away 2 goals to a team that until this game had only scored 8 in the league? This will need to be monitored as it could become a problem against the better teams in the league, as we saw in the Highland Amateur Cup result against Golspie.
