Players missing as Sleat and Strath lose friendly

Sleat and Strath travelled to Plockton earlier tonight for a friendly they had hoped would prepare them for the Scottish Amateur Cup 3rd round match against Feughside in just over a week.

Ian MacPherson pulled out of the squad with flu earlier in the day and new signing Crick is rumoured to have been injured in a training session in Portree last night, but also missing were Sandy, Lochie and Jamie Hamilton. However the current team is one of great depth and should still have been able to have a good game.

Despite their season ending some time ago, the Plockton team have been training hard and were the fitter side on the evening. They outperformed the Champions, easily beating them 4-0.

The management has arranged another friendly against Portree Juniors in Portree next Wednesday (1930ko) to try and improve the squads match fitness before the crucial tie against Feughside.
