A busy week

It's been a busy week for the club and this site. After the 3rd round draw and the friendly there were some doubts over new signing Cricks injury. We can now confirm that it was an ankle knock but he hopes to be fit for the trip to Finzean. Ian MacPherson has recovered from flu, and with Jamie Hamilton and Sandy both confirming their availability for the cup tie, Sleat and Strath will be at full strength.

Last week we reported that the Club Secretary of 17 years, Ruairidh MacKinnon, had resigned at the previous committee meeting. The committee had voted to pull out their support for the Ceann Loch developments, and as managing director of the Ceann Loch company it then became a conflict of interests for him to stay on board with the club.

Manager DL had this to say about the former Secretary: "(he) kept the club alive when it would have folded in the dark days, just because we are winning at the moment lets not forget the years he single handedly ran the club to put it where it is today."

The Club is holding a committee meeting on Tuesday 1st November to vote on a new Secretary.

In other news, this site has surpassed the two thousand views landmark!! We would like to thank all our visitors for their continued support and say that we are extremely happy to have reached such a landmark in just 6 months. Let's hope the boys continue the impressive cup run so that we still have plenty to report on over the next few months.
