Sleat and Strath AFC got back to league duties this week after the break for the Midsummer Tournament. A rearranged home game against Plockton was played Tuesday night. The Sleat and Strath players who had been selected for the MST showed no signs of fatigue and they easily pushed aside Plockton. Gordon McCarroll was again on fine scoring form, picking up a hat-trick. Ben Yoxon grabbed a brace, with Sandy MacAskill and James Robertson also scoring. Plockton didn't make it any easier on themselves by scoring an own goal, and John Davie was obviously keen to keep yet another clean sheet as he saved a Plockton penalty.

The result takes Sleat and Strath AFC goal difference above that of Kyleakin, who beat Portree 4-2 on the same night to stay within 3 points of league leaders Sleat and Strath.

Elsewhere, Kyle picked up their first win of the season, winning 5-0 in Staffin.
